Scoop a pea-sized amount on a fingertip. Roll it between fingers for 3–5 seconds. Solid at room temperature, liquid at skin temperature.

Grass-fed and grass-finished matters. Grain-finished cattle produce tallow with a fatty-acid profile shifted toward omega-6 — structurally the opposite of what your skin needs. The tallow we use comes from cattle fed on pasture through finishing, not a feedlot.
We render at low heat (<200°F) in stainless steel over 36–48 hours. This keeps vitamins A and D intact — both are destroyed at the industrial steam-render temperatures the category's volume producers use to hit a cost target.
