§ Honest comparison

About this product

BUTTR Tallow Skin Balm is a 10-ingredient moisturizer built around grass-fed beef tallow — one of the most skin-compatible fats in nature. But we didn't stop at tallow. We added shea butter for a silky, non-greasy feel, raw honey as a natural humectant to draw moisture in, olive oil to soften and condition, sea buckthorn oil for nutrient-dense conditioning, and oat kernel flour to support the skin's natural moisture barrier.

Calendula and Roman chamomile calm dry, tight skin. Aloe vera delivers lightweight hydration. Coconut oil rounds out the formula with deep moisture and a smooth finish.

The result? A balm that moisturizes without the grease, nourishes without the synthetics, and delivers with just 10 clean ingredients.

  • Moisturizes without the grease — Shea butter + aloe vera = smooth absorption, not a heavy film.
  • Richly scented by natural botanicals — No synthetic fragrance, no perfume. A clean, natural scent — not beef.
  • Made in the USA — Small-batch crafted with grass-fed beef tallow and hand-selected botanicals.

No parabens. No sulfates. No synthetic fragrance. No preservatives. No petroleum. No artificial dyes.

§ FAQ

Five questions we get most.

No. Properly rendered grass-fed tallow is near-odorless. What you'll smell is the chamomile and calendula infusions — faint herbal, nothing more. No synthetic fragrance.

Yes. Many customers use it exclusively on face. Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingers, press into skin, and give it 60–90 seconds to absorb. Non-comedogenic for most skin types, but patch-test first if you have acneic skin.

We can't say that — the FDA classifies "heal eczema" as a drug claim, and BUTTR is a cosmetic. What we can say: the fatty-acid profile of grass-fed tallow closely matches human sebum, which is why it's well-tolerated on eczema-prone skin. Many customers describe meaningful improvement in their reviews.

A 2.7 oz jar lasts roughly 8 weeks if you're using it on face plus a few target patches, or 4 weeks if applying full-body. Our subscribe-and-save cadence is monthly.
